Existe certo preconceito, portanto, falta de apoio para mulheres que escolhem a estrada e seu caminhão como companhias de trabalho.

A começar pela velha discussão sobre quem dirige melhor (homem ou mulher?).

Aliás, nossa pesquisa demonstrou que existem provas de que mulheres guiam com mais prudência.

  1. Há pouco apoio

É fato que mesmo a família deixa a questão do apoio meio de lado quando a mulher decide enfrentar a estrada.

A desculpa principal desta falta de apoio, seja dos pais, marido, amigas… é o descaso com a segurança nas rodovias.

Entretanto,

Olhando de modo mais profundo, basicamente em todas as profissões existe certo grau de risco,

Ou seja, até mesmo uma mulher professora, por exemplo, está exposta a determinado nível de insegurança.

  • Mulheres caminhoneiras são assedias

Mas de fato, existe uma probabilidade maior de assédio para mulheres motoristas de caminhões,

E afinal elas são minoria.

No entanto, são as mulheres que precisam mudar este quadro.

Mas como?

Em síntese, é necessário que mulheres que trabalham com transporte de cargas se unam e exijam mais políticas de conscientização e proteção neste meio.

  • Rejeição de outras mulheres

Este talvez seja o maior e pior preconceito em relação à mulher caminhoneira.

Aos olhos de outras, mulheres que dirigem caminhão, podem ser taxadas de rudes, pouco afetivas, distantes, entre outras coisas (não muito boas).

O estereotipo da mulher em um caminhão afeta, na verdade, mulheres mais recatadas ou que abriram mão de seus próprios sonhos para evitar rótulos da sociedade.
